Upgraded (kind of) Sound Machine

When my old faithful died, I purchased this sound therapy system.  Against my better judgement and good historical precedent, I ignored the lower Amazon reviews because I thought the things that annoyed the other users wouldn’t bother me as much.  I was quite wrong.  This has a LOUD speaker, which is good and doubles as a bluetooth speaker – awesome, one less thing on the nightstand.  The sounds themselves were fine, here’s the issue, the recording doesn’t repeat, but it’s only about 8 hours long and when that 8 hours is up, t’doesn’t repeat so you continue your sounds of the ocean, jungle, rainstorm, whatever, it moves to the next track.  Super fail.  I’m a light enough sleeper that when it switched from thunderstorm to “brown noise” it woke me up.  No, I don’t generally sleep more than 8 hours, but sometimes I do or many times I turn on the white noise to get my mind at rest, do some puzzles, or read and then go to sleep which means my peaceful rainstorm lullaby abruptly changes an hour or so before I really want to wake up.  It also seems to remember where you were in the track when you turn it off in the morning so say you got 6.5 hours of rainstorm that night before, after 1.5 hours, It popped to something new.  Way too distracting and this one went back.  If you can remember to start the sound cycle again every night or don’t mind the switch, this was otherwise a nice little speaker.
