Blueprint Cleanse – Inception

I don’t know about you, but I was gross over the holidays.  By New Years day, everything hurt my stomach.  I ate any and everything I wanted and now, I feel disgusting.  The solution…a cleanse!

Now, you know I do nothing without muchos official research – on the internet.  I eventually zeroed in on the Blueprint cleanse, (http://blueprintcleanse.com/) excitedly went to the website, read up some more, talked my boyfriend into doing it with me without revealing the no food for 3 days thing (he’s such a good sport), clicked the order and BAM…was denied.  Not really.  I waited too long and I wouldn’t be able to get my juices delivered for the weekend when I was determined I must start.  No problem, boyfriend works in NY, he’ll go pick it up.  Denied again.  No pick-ups until Sunday and I was determined this cleanse must start on 1/5/2013 and not a day later and yes, it’s because I scheduled it into my social calendar and an upcoming happy hour.  I resigned that I’d have to pick another cleanse, identified a possibility and then… amazing enough, was able to find Blueprint juices at Whole Foods.   Yay!  Buying them individually at whole foods in VA (9.99 each, 11.99 for the cashew milk) was the same as the online order price of $65 a day, so bam, A (my boyfriend) and I were back in business.

3 days worth of Blueprint cleanse juices from Whole Foods

Now here’s my second confession – I cheated a little.  I had read online about the horror of the green juice and  I have a personal horror for beets and wanted to know what I was getting into, so I purchased on green juice and one beet juice just to try.  Let me just say, the green juice is like a salad in a bottle, but as I’ve had green juice before I enjoyed it.  The beet juice was horrifying.  If you like beets, you’ll love this, if not AVOID.  So by necessity, I’m jumping up a level of cleanse (Foundation) and A is going to do the renovation.  Over the next few days, I plan to blog as often as I can remember about our experiences so you can decide if the Blueprint cleanse is pretty darn useful or not…
